Stand Up Forklift Attachment
Attachment for Stand Up Forklift - IC engine powered trucks are labeled in respect to the fuel used. Type "G" forklifts are gasoline fueled. They meet the minimum requirements for fire hazards. This is the most common designation found on gasoline fueled lift trucks. Forklifts labeled "G" are not utilized in hazardous sites for apparent reasons. Type "GS" forklifts are gasoline fueled and satisfy all requirements of a Type "G" lift truck and include other devices installed to the electrical and fuel and exhaust system so as to allow them to be used in certain hazardous locations. Type "GS" lift trucks are used in similar applications to Type "EE" electric forklifts.
Type "LP" forklifts are LPG fueled and do satisfy the minimum standard for fire hazards. This is the most common designation found on lift trucks fueled by gasoline. The trucks labeled "LP" are not utilized in hazardous places. Type "LPS" lift trucks are fueled by LPG and meet all standards of a Type "G" truck. They have other pieces of machinery installed to the fuel system, exhaust system and electrical system to be able to allow them to be utilized in certain unsafe applications. Type "LPS" forklifts are utilized in similar applications to Type "GS" and Type "EE" electric lift trucks.
As duel fuel models, the "G/LP" forklifts could be operated on either LPG or gasoline. These forklifts are not to be used in unsafe sites, yet meet minimum standards for fire hazards. Type "GS/LPS" forklifts are duel fuel models as they could be operated on LPG or gasoline without whatever alteration to the fuel system. These trucks meet all requirements of a Type "GS" or Type "LPS" truck and have various machines installed to their fuel system, exhaust system and electrical system, to allow them to be utilized in certain unsafe applications. Type "GS/LPS" forklifts are utilized in similar applications to Type "GS", Type "LPS" and Type "EE" electric trucks.
Diesel fueled lift trucks that meet minimum requirements for fire hazards are labeled type "D". These forklifts must not be used in dangerous locations. Type "DS" lift trucks are fueled by diesel and meet all of the requirements of a Type "D" truck and have different equipment installed to the fuel system, exhaust system and electrical system to be able to allow them to be used in some unsafe places. Type "DS" forklifts are utilized in comparable applications to Type "GS", Type "LPS" and Type "EE" electric forklifts. Type "DY" lift trucks are fueled by diesel and meet all the requirements of Type "DS" forklifts and in addition do not comprise whatever electrical devices installed. These utilize air starters and comprise provisions for controlling the temperature of truck components. These type forklifts are used in similar application to the Type "EE" electric trucks.
